The Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change (NRECC) together with the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) today announced and awarded 29 winners of the National Energy Awards (NEA) 2023 from a total of 114 submissions.

The National Energy Awards or NEA recognises the outstanding achievements and best practices of the public and private sectors in driving the country’s sustainable energy agenda. Inaugurated in 2018, NEA is part of the government’s effort in promoting Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.

The annual National Energy Awards (NEA) is now open for 2023 submission. This Award aims to support sustainable energy practices while recognising and honouring industry players for their innovations as Malaysia transitions to a climate-conscious green economy.
